PROJECT MANAGER: NATHALIE DOYLE
As the project manager and designer, I guided this 8-townhome development in Capitol Hill while going through design review with the City of Seattle. This development has recently completed construction, and all but 2 units have been sold. The project balances urban density with livability, placing two street-facing homes along 10th Ave E with welcoming stoops, while six additional homes are staggered along a landscaped pedestrian path to create privacy and generous outdoor spaces. Careful site planning integrated long-term bicycle storage, discreet solid waste facilities, and a pedestrian connection from the alley to 10th Ave, ensuring both functionality and a strong sense of community.
Meticulously built by a local second-generation builder, these residences showcase sophisticated finishes, quartz-topped kitchens, and stainless steel appliances. Oversized windows fill the interiors with natural light, complementing versatile layouts that include mezzanine levels in select homes. Each residence features an indoor-outdoor penthouse with a wet bar that opens onto a spacious rooftop deck—perfect for entertaining against the backdrop of sweeping city views. The homes were designed to reflect the character of the neighborhood while providing modern living. I coordinated across consultants, city reviewers, and the builder to deliver thoughtful layouts with abundant natural light and well-planned indoor-outdoor connections.
Located steps from transit, cultural amenities, and green spaces, this project reflects my ability to manage complex urban infill housing while maintaining focus on resident experience, technical execution, and long-term value.
